Bio
Tom Wheelwright is the founder and CEO of WealthAbility and a CPA. He advises entrepreneurs and investors on tax strategies and wealth-building approaches. He has more than 30 years of experience developing tax, business, and wealth strategies for business owners and investors in manufacturing, real estate, and high technology.
Tom previously served as an in-house tax advisor at Pinnacle West Capital Corporation and as an adjunct professor in Arizona State University's Master of Tax program for 14 years, where he created and taught a course in multistate tax planning. He holds a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Utah. His planning work includes business structuring, tax-efficient investment strategy, and techniques involving deductions, income conversion, tax-bracket shifting, credits, and deferral.
